Q in Portlandia

by Q Ideas
Q is excited to be in Portland today for our fifth annual gathering. We pulled up stakes and headed west this year because we believe this city represents what the future of American social culture might look like. Portland is ground zero for postmodernism, pluralism and post-Christianity. At the same time, God is moving throughout this city. Many faith communities are thriving, and churches have found a way to participate together and promote the common good.

At the same time, our team was anxious about coming to Portland. For many in our collective--especially those who live along the East Coast--it would be a long distance to travel. We never would have guessed that our venue would be full this year. Participants from most of the continental United States--over 50 from international countries--today to listen, learn and dialogue about how the Gospel might go forward in our current era.

For those who couldn't be with us in Portland this year, we wanted you to catch a glimpse of what we'll be doing and hearing and discussing this week. So, we've made the Q Notebook available to you for download. Take a minute to flip through it as you consider joining us this coming year when Q heads to our nation's capital.

If you were unable to attend Q in Portland this year, you can view all the talks in HD format with a Q Premier Membership.
