Al Barth

Al is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church In America. Having planted four churches over his pastoral career, he now works primarily as a Church Planting Catalyst/Coordinator for Church Planting in major cities - helping to start new movements of churches in leading cities of Europe, Africa and North America. He has served as a coach, trainer and mentor for many global Church Planters. At present he is finishing his dissertation on “Strengthening the Influence of the Gospel in the Cities of Europe.” He and his wife, Rene, have three adult children and are grandparents to eight grandchildren.

A Vision for Our Cities

By 2050, five cities are projected to reach mega-giant status with 40 million people each: Lagos, Karachi, Bombay, Dhaka, and Calcutta. Four of these cities will very likely to be hostile to Christianity. Allan Barth lays the biblical foundation for reaching cities and shaping culture.
