Antonio Carlos Costa
Antonio Carlos Costa is a social activist, author, church planter, and
theologian living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Rio is known as one of the
most dangerous cities in the world, famous for street wars between
police, drug traffickers, and organized crime. Antonio, after planting
several churches, founding a denomination and a seminary, decided
someone must speak out. Leading hundreds to the streets to cry out on
behalf of the afflicted, a movement resulted called Rio de Paz (River of
Peace), now one of the most prominent human rights organizations (NGO)
in Brazil’s history.
