Bill McKibben

Bill McKibben

Bill McKibben is an environmentalist, writer and frequent contributor to The New York Times, The Atlantic Monthly, Harper’s, Rolling Stone, and many other publications. McKibben is active in the Methodist Church, and his writing sometimes has a spiritual bent. His first book, The End of Nature (1989) is regarded as the first to talk about climate change for a general audience. His latest, Deep Economy, addresses shortcomings of the growth economy and envisions a transition to more local-scale enterprise.

Listen as he sounds the alarm and offers a path forward.
