Loving the Large Church (and Worrying About It)
Megachurches continue to spring up all across America, even as writers like Wendell Berry and Eugene Peterson warn against their spiritual disadvantages. Author Jason Byassee says we need to hear these critics carping in our ears, while at the same time remember that large churches don't have to follow the norm. They can
be communities of prayer, worship, study and service on par with smaller congregations.
