Kirsten Powers

Kirsten Powers is a FOX News Political Analyst and writes a political column for The New York Post. She appears regularly on shows such as, Hannity, The O’Reilly Factor, and Special Report with Brett Baier. Powers served in the Clinton administration as the Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Public Affairs and was the Vice President for International Communications at America Online. Later she was a vice president at the AOL-Time Warner Foundation.

Uncovering Our Hidden Misogyny

The problem of misogyny is not one relegated only to foreign countries, but can be found in America as well. In fact, some of the signs are so common-place that it has become almost unrecognizable; side comments in meetings when a woman offers an idea, the overuse of the female body in advertising, the objectification of women in film, music and art are all symptoms of a much greater disease.
