Laura Palmer Noone

Laura Palmer Noone was president of University of Phoenix, where she led the largest private university in the United States. She retired from that position in 2006 and was named President Emerita of the institution. She also served as CEO for Piccolo Educational Systems from 2008 through 2010 and retired from that post in April of 2010. Noone received her doctorate in higher education administration from The Union Institute and her juris doctor and master’s  from the University of Iowa. mong her many accomplishments, Noone has served as member of the U.S. Department of Education’s National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity.
