Michael Goheen

Dr. Mike Goheen occupies the Geneva Chair of Worldview and Religious Studies at Trinity Western University, and is a Teaching Fellow in Mission at Regent College, Vancouver. He lives with his wife of 32 years, Marnie, in Burnaby, British Columbia, and has four married adult children and three grandchildren.

The Lasting Legacy of Lesslie Newbigin

A Missionary Encounter with Western Culture

Lesslie Newbigin spent 40 years as a missionary in India. Upon his return to England, he spent 25 years as a missionary to the Western church. Michael Goheen reminds us of Newbigin's message and suggests that the life of the Western church may depend on our ability to act upon Newbigin's legacy.
