Not on Our Watch

Genocide, mass atrocities and human trafficking top Shannon's list of focuses as she views the global landscape and considers what can be done. But Shannon is not just a lamenter or an observer; she is an activator on these issues. Her frequent trips to Rwanda, Sudan, South Africa, India and South America have placed her in the middle of some of the most volatile situations of our day. Her work with, "The Elders", a respected group of world-renowned leaders formed by Nelson Mandela, Graca Machel and Desmond Tutu, has given her a new appreciation for what is possible when a few come together, leverage their reputations and their power, to help others.
