As Libyan revolutionaries rejoice in overthrowing Muammar Gaddafi's brutal and reign, Egyptian and Tunisian protesters continue to rebuild their countries. Revolution came to the Arab Spring from within, and it continues to brew throughout the Middle East. How can we cut through the noise to understand the role the U.S. plays in this unstable region? What are the parallels between the Arab Spring and the Occupy movement? It seems like a lot of the OWS websites are claiming some level of solidarity with the middle easterners, but can we really equate our governmental situations?
