Overcoming the Faith and Science Divide

Alister McGrath

Alister McGrath, a former atheist and scientist, now a prominent theologian, shares his inside perspective on the benefits of Christians and science getting along.

Excellent resource for the church. We have no need to fear the scientific Atheists. Most of them are sincerely searching for truth but have mistakenly or unknowingly made science their god. Unfortunately for them, that god continually changes because it built upon observation and experiment. The true and living God never changes and His Word never changes. Consistency always prevails in the end. In this we have the confidence. We need to intelligently engage people where they are and in love guide them in truth. Thank you for this video.

Francis Collins just posted this New Hope Church faith science sermon on his website. Preaching faith and science has changed our church community. Scientists helped write and preach sermons. The process was brilliant! Gonna preach 5 more sermons this year! Here's the link
